Brad Garrett is an American actor, stand up comedian, professional poker player, and with his renowned deep voice, a voice-over actor. Born in Los Angeles, Garrett had star studded inspiration all around him growing up, and strived for the same after dropping out of UCLA to pursue his passion for stand up comedy.

Brad Garrett become the first $100,000 grand champion in Star Search’s comedy category. This win earned him an appearance on the Tonight Show, and sealed his “claim to fame”. Following his appearance on the Tonight Show, he began to open for comedians like Liza Minnelli. In 2010, he opened Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club in the Tropicana Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Garrett is best recognized for his Emmy award winning role as Ray Romano’s brother on the popular sitcom. Everyone Loves Raymond. He also has a regular role in the CBS show First Impressions and The Pursuit of Happiness. Garrett also appeared on the smash sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

He became known for his deep gravely voice and it made him a staple actor for roles that required such a voice. His 6 foot 8 inches stature also made him an ideal candidate for specific roles. Garrett has voiced over characters in the hits Finding Nemo, A Bug’s Life, Tangled, Ratatouille and Planes. He also voiced the Hulk Hogan character for the cartoon television series Hulk Hogan Rock n’ Wrestling.
